These terms explain how TempWebz provides website, hosting, design, search visibility and technical services. Please read your quote or order confirmation as well; it sets out the scope and price for your project.
1. Quotes and scope
A quote covers only the work described in it. Work outside that scope, extra revisions, third-party charges and ongoing services may need a separate quote or approval. We will tell you about additional charges before undertaking additional work. Any dates or timeframes in a quote depend on timely access, information and approvals from you.
2. Payment and starting work
Prices, deposits, milestones and payment due dates are set out in your quote, invoice or checkout. Work may begin once we have accepted your request and received any required payment and access. You are responsible for approved third-party costs such as domains, licences, subscriptions and hosting.
3. Cancellations and refunds
We do not offer refunds simply because you change your mind. Once work has started, payments for work performed, reserved project time and costs we have incurred are generally non-refundable to the extent permitted by law. If you cancel, contact us promptly; we will confirm the work completed, any committed third-party costs and what remains payable or refundable under your agreement and applicable law. Renewals or third-party subscriptions may have their own cancellation terms, which we will identify where relevant.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are unaffected. Our services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. If a service has a major failure, you may be entitled to cancel the service contract and receive a refund for its unused portion or compensation for its reduced value, and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure is not major, we are entitled to a reasonable opportunity to fix it. Nothing in these terms limits any remedy that the law says cannot be limited.
4. Your input and approvals
Please provide accurate content, lawful materials, access and timely feedback. You confirm that you have the right to supply materials for us to use. We may rely on your instructions and approvals. Delays in providing them may change the schedule. Please review deliverables and report any issue with enough detail for us to investigate and resolve it.
5. Hosting, domains and third parties
Hosting, domains, email platforms, plugins and other third-party services may be subject to their providers’ terms, availability and renewal prices. We will explain what is included in our service and which accounts or fees remain your responsibility. You should keep your own copies of important content and account details. We may suspend an ongoing service for overdue payment after reasonable notice, subject to applicable law and any agreed service terms.
6. Intellectual property
You keep ownership of materials you supply. Unless a quote says otherwise, once all amounts due for a deliverable have been paid, you may use the final work we created for its agreed business purpose. Third-party assets, software, fonts, themes and licences remain subject to their own terms. We may use general skills, methods and pre-existing materials in other work without disclosing your confidential information.
7. Service standards and liability
We will provide services with due care and skill and in accordance with any non-excludable legal guarantees. We cannot promise search rankings, uninterrupted operation of third-party systems or a particular commercial result unless we expressly agree to it in writing. To the extent the law permits, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate material or instructions you provide, unauthorised changes by others, or third-party outages beyond our control. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Privacy and communication
We use the information you provide to discuss, deliver and support the requested services. We may need to share relevant information with providers used for your project. Contact us if you have a question about how your information is handled or wish to correct it.
9. Problems and changes
If there is a problem, email admin@tempwebz.com with your name, the service and details of the issue so we can investigate. We may update these terms for future orders. The terms applicable to an existing order will not be changed retrospectively without agreement, except where the law requires it.
10. $800 New Business Startup package
The $800 package is available only to new businesses seeking one new landing page. It is not available for redesigning an existing website or for a business requiring more than a single-page website. Subject to availability and eligibility, it includes registration of one standard domain for the first 12 months, setup of one business email mailbox, and one single-page website with initial hosting for 12 months. We will check the requested domain and review the submitted business details after payment. If an eligible domain is unavailable, we will discuss an alternative or an appropriate remedy. Premium domains, extra mailboxes, additional pages or features and third-party licences are outside the package unless separately quoted and accepted.
The package branding and single-page website are generated using AI, including the initial layout, text and imagery. Any logo, content or marketing materials you upload serve as references for that process and do not turn this offer into a manual branding project or existing-site redesign. You must supply accurate business information and review factual claims before launch. The package does not include SEO work, Google Ads (AdWords) setup or management, or revision rounds after delivery. Changes or added work can be quoted separately. This does not limit our obligation to deliver the agreed scope with reasonable care and skill or any rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law.
The $800 is for the initial setup and first 12 months of the specified domain, email mailbox and hosting. Domain, email and hosting renewal costs apply after 12 months. We will provide the then-current recurring prices before you decide whether to renew; the $800 does not prepay those later periods. If the requested domain is unavailable or you do not meet its registration requirements, we will discuss an available alternative before proceeding.
We do not offer a refund for a change of mind. Once work begins, amounts for work performed and committed third-party costs are generally not refundable to the extent permitted by law. Section 3 above and all non-excludable Australian Consumer Law rights and remedies continue to apply.
